When I began to work as an energy healer I was amazed at how little people had invested in their own healing and life. Even today two decades later I see more people educated and still not fully invested in themselves.
So much of our health and life are on autopilot and work to a certain extent. The illusion that life just happens is a lie that may be the crux of the victim mentality. The truth is that we have always been co-creators. We all have tremendous control and can change any circumstance.
I knew this and did my best to help others learn this as well. My greatest learning was not in the thousands of hours of study but in the experience of putting what I learned to task and exploring more while working with others-clients, students and in paying attention in everyday life, and with me.
Noticing what worked and what did not work along with how each one of us perceived ourselves and our challenges, helped me to discover and refine healing and learning. I focused on helping people receive it and continue to master it themselves. Not such an easy job in a culture where people are trained to go to religious people to connect to the god force and go to the doctor to heal them and go to school to learn rote answers.
Being a full participant in your life is how you learn, connect and heal, and many are afraid to do this. Giving our power away to others and not owning our own minds, bodies and hearts has been the greatest tragedy of our time. This is changing and yet we still need to make effort and stay focused.
In nineteen eighty four when I went back to college bridging nutrition with psychology majors I was called out by the faculty, and others in the world saying that the mind and body have nothing to do with each other. We have come a long way, and yet many are still ignorant, or have ideas of mind-body medicine, and do not explore their importance and implement them.
We are taught that the patient or the client is the healer in all manner of healing and yet there was no training for healer or patient to learn how. I realized that people were depending on me to do it all and take full responsibility. I went on to years of study and practice focused on learning how to help people to learn to heal themselves and have had profound results more quickly and easily for both of us.
People think they know a lot and yet say and do things against themselves each moment of the day. Learning to notice these things, have no tolerance for these and learn how to break through to live and speak clearly in your own best interest is a practice and there is a lot to learn and unlearn.
We have to heal the split inside ourselves. Rote affirmations, sayings and beliefs do not do the trick when you respond more to fear and thoughts of a part of me does not want to change. These will keep you sick, confused and in pain.
The first course of action is to choose to heal and be happy and free and be willing to break through whatever blocks and learn new ways to live. Our bodies are self-healing organisms and our lives are in our control when we know how. We are victim when we live against our nature and truth. The best science is the one that really works, not the one that has the highest funding.
Stop making excuses and become curious as to why you would not change when it will save your life. I have had people in late stages of critical illness say, “How long do I have to do this?” I say, “How long do you want to live?” I have also had people willing to do everything it takes and heal, survive and thrive for years after.
Learning self-care and being willing to break through barriers in your personality and will to be there for you, will bring you great results. See where you feel out of control or victim and discover ways to find solutions.
As a medical intuitive energy healer and shaman, clients are amazed at all of the various levels of information and healing that are given to help them come back into balance and heal quickly. Our sessions and classes are about experiencing and growing in wisdom and knowledge aligning with you so that you easily learn, change and heal.
For ongoing complete healing it is important to honor and blend all aspects of us and not just one change or procedure. I work with medical and natural practitioners as a team member bringing missing pieces together and teaching and assisting changes required in helping people through health and life issues.
Join me with a friend or give it as a gift in Morristown, NJ on December 17 for a transformational class on how to Be The Medicine for practitioners and people who are looking for more clear ways to bring healing and life together.
